Preping to Depart.

So as to be expected our plan seating situation turned out to be slightly on the hysterical side. Allow me to create the expectation. Janise and I got online Monday night to carefully select our seats. Much to our surprise, aside from a potential friend scattered here or there, the entire back half of the plane was about as full as a jar of Nutella should be (if you don’t understand the analogy, stop reading now, rush to your nearest grocery store and purchase a jar of Nutella—I think it best described as a delightful European response to creamy peanut butter, but better because it pretty much can positively enhance your sensory experience when spread on anything. Mmm!! The “finding” to “trying” process can be easily expedited by A. asking for assistance from the first employees you see, and B. buying a loaf of French bread as well…hot out of the oven would be ideal, though the lack there of will not substantially taint the experience. At this point you can cozy back up and continue reading while educating yourself on the tantalizing delicacy of a scrumptious Nutella snack. Bon Appetite!) We had a grrreat plan. We would strategically select seats in awkward spot along the same row straight across the plane (the layout was 3-4-3) thereby making it less likely that anyone would be interested in sitting on the same row, this way we would have 7 seats between the two of us and plenty of room to spread out and/or lay down for our 10ish hour flight. Seeming too good to be true I called over Daddy to survey the situation. He too was surprised by the number of available goldmines but based off his business traveling experience, etc., he was confident that given the late hour, much less than 24 hours before scheduled take off, if the flight showed such expansive space it must be so. Giggling at the prospect of awesomeness for the impending ride we quickly selected the most awful combo possible and clicked “change.” Row 50, seat B (center of a three) and Row 50, seat E (second one in on a four). It couldn’t have been more perfect.
Off to the airport on this absolutely B-E-A-Utiful Tuesday sunny midday we went. Mom stayed home from work to hangout with us and drop us at the airport. It became very apparent that it was time to go as the closer to LAX we got the more it rained. Sometimes extra steps are taken by someone ;) to help me want to leave the Happiest Place on Earth (and actually that totally applies to Disneyland too). Though the gorgeous weather we’ve been having at home was nowhere near a deterrent for me to take off on my next adventure of a lifetime—despite the fact that the low is supposed to be in the 20s and high in the low 50s during March, in the south of Europe (which is where we’re ending…totally on purpose, duh! I’m gonna do whatever it takes to assure that I get to wear some of my cute dresses and sandals by the time we get to southern Italy…mom keep praying for that sunshine please).
So, we get boarding and totally amped up for the amazingly comfortable, spacious ride we’re about to take when I begin to realize that the large crowd in front of me is most certainly not going to fit very easily in the middle section of the plane which was completely full. Where are they going?? We have the whole back to ourselves!...right? Ha! WRONG! It’s packed! The whole entire thing is packed!!! What the?!?!?!? And as if my seat in the middle-ish of a four across wasn’t bad enough, Janise’s was in between this totally like thug, juicy couture, Italian looking couple that had been mad dawging us in the terminal while we waited to board. Huh?? What happened?
Cancelled flight. Of course. Shouldn’t they have to like ask us if we’re willing to share our comfortable empty seats before they make decisions like this?? Hahahaha, just kidding…mostly.

  2. Love it! Sounds just like you. Miss you already.

Four things I wouldn't miss in London:

1: Winston Churchill Museum. Honestly it is the most amazing amazing museum i've ever been to. It talked about how Winston tried to bring down Hitler. Cami... it was amazing! This museum is RIGHT next to parlament and Big Ben.

2: Large... more then Large crepes right across the street from Big Ben. Its a little shack but its just the feeling when you a eating those crepes looking at the view thinking, "Oh my!!!!!! Im in London!"

3: There is a museum that shows how they use to do medicine in the olden days. Takes you through all the surgeries they had to do without medicine and without sharp knives. Creepy=yes. Intense=yes. A little Scary=yes. BUT you appreciate our world today a lot more. IF this sounds interesting let me know and I will get you the address

4: Buckingham Palace. Amazing. AH! Loved it. Beautiful. Kind of far away. But Oh MY GOODNESS so amazing.

Oh man I could actually go on and on and on and on! Oh how I love London! Sooo soooo sooo much

    Love you much!
